Deep copying asset activity definitions
If you want to duplicate an asset activity definition from an asset service plan, proceed as follows:
Procedure
1. Go to > .
2. Select the asset activity definition you want to deep copy.
3. On the action panel, click Deep copy.
4. In the Copying dialog box, select the relevant options to copy along one or more types of expected costs.
5. Select the associated items you want to include in the deep copy:
◦ Hour costs
◦ Material costs
◦ Additional costs
◦ Asset maintenance checklist items
6. Click OK.
The asset activity definition is deep copied.
7. Adjust the data of the deep copy as required, for example its Description.
 | If you only want to make a simple copy of the asset activity definition – that is excluding the checklist items or costs - select the Copy option instead. |
