Adding asset activity definitions
If you do not use the standards from the Maintenance library for asset maintenance, or if you need a specific activity definition for a particular asset, you can add asset activity definitions in Assets > Activities/registrations > Asset activity definitions.

After having set a schedule for the selected asset activity definition, you can add additional data to the asset activity definition:
• Expected costs, at > . For more information on expected costs, such as material costs and product requisitions, refer to Executing maintenance plans.
• Checklist items at > . The items will be taken into account during the generation of the maintenance orders. After an order has been generated, the checklist items will be added to the ensuing maintenance activities. In Assets , to view maintenance activities that are scheduled for an asset, asset service plan or asset activity definitions, navigate directly from the selected element to > .
| | Once a maintenance plan is compiled for a property’s assets in Planned Maintenance , the corresponding asset service plans and asset activity definitions will be included in this maintenance plan. Subsequently, maintenance activities and maintenance orders can be generated. |
