Logging asset history
In Planon, it is possible to keep track of modifications to specific fields. At Asset details > History -assets, you can view an asset's / building element's logged history, that is, the modifications that were made to certain fields and are logged by the system.
In Field definer , functional application managers or users with similar rights can enable an automatic History option for asset fields. You can indicate per field whether history should be recorded. If you enable history, any field changes are saved automatically in a log file. The results are displayed on the History selection step.
With the appropriate authorization and configuration, you can also manually add a history of changes to a selected asset / building element, via the action panel. Any comments you want to make on changed data can be entered in the Comment field and subsequently saved.
