You can register identical assets as a multiple asset. You can use this type of registration even if the multiple asset is spread across different properties and locations.
This saves repetitive data registration, as you only need to enter a single asset record.
For example, if you have registered 100 identical office chairs as a multiple asset that is distributed over several rooms or buildings, you can assign various locations to the individual assets or clusters of assets (at Asset details > Asset locations).

You can register a multiple asset by selecting No in the Simple field of the asset.
