Asset groups can be used to categorize assets into logical groups such as Mechanical, Electrical, Furniture etc. An asset group has a hierarchical structure, with a maximum of 10 levels. An asset group is not linked to a particular property, so the classification into groups is the same for all properties.

Asset groups are added and maintained in Assets > Filters > Asset groups.
