A functional and hierarchical grouping of assets / building elements that require planned preventative maintenance (PPM). The individual items in the asset classification have their own descriptions and codes.
You can add asset classifications in Supporting data or in Assets Pro (at Filters > Asset classifications). You can use different methods of asset classification for different types of assets / building elements. Example: Roofs, Ceilings, Walls, Lighting, Security etc.
