Stopping accounts receiving notifications
To prevent sending notifications to ghost accounts, future or terminated accounts are excluded from being notified.
If an account is linked to a notification, a message is sent when the condition is met. To ensure that the log is not unnecessarily burdened, messages that cannot be delivered because an account is terminated or not yet active, are filtered out.
This is also true for users linked to a user group that should receive a notification.
This feature applies to:
• Notification definitions
• Notify once definitions
• Event based notifications
• Alarm definitions
• Action definitions
 | This feature does not apply to accounts receiving notifications through recipient reports; the application cannot determine whether an account is terminated or not active yet based on the email address. |
