Automated order generation with PPM profiles
Generating maintenance orders as an automated, scheduled task (for example on a monthly basis), reduces human intervention and errors to a minimum.
When you create and activate a maintenance plan with activity definitions, it becomes possible to automatically generate orders. This automation is managed through a
PPM
profile.
In a PPM profile, you can specify the following:
• Scheduling parameters: Defines the frequency of order generation and the time period for which orders should be created.
Example: A maintenance team lead wants to schedule auto-generated PPM orders for all three-monthly Lift maintenance activities. This should be done until the end date of the maintenance plan, so there will be no need to rely on human intervention to generate these orders every three months.
