Role player
A role player represents an actor (person, company, external party) with a specific role in a team.
Role players are either people from Personnel , companies from Addresses , or external actors who play a specific role in a transaction team as transaction team members.
If you are working with PMFS apps such as PMFS solution or AppSuite, or with Resource planner, you can also include role players as team members in maintenance teams. For more information on maintenance team configuration, see Configuring teams.
 | In the PMFS solution , deleting / ending a role player has consequences for their assigned work. The system will automatically revoke the 'team envelopes' that are related to the work assignment, to prevent tasks remaining assigned to people who are no longer active as a role player / team member. Planon administrators can also use the Revoke team envelopes action to directly revoke outstanding team work assignments. |
