Making performance monitoring settings

Performance monitoring can be activated at runtime.

Making changes to performance monitoring settings is designed to prevent interruptions by reloading the application cache. You can, therefore, make changes to settings in a 'Production' environment.

Procedure

1. Select System settings > Performance monitoring.

2. Fill out the fields in the data panel. For a description of these fields, see Performance monitoring fields.

3. Click Save.

Performance monitoring is now in progress.

◦ A cache refresh is no longer required, except for updating PSS2 (Self-Service) or Scheduler data.

◦ The performance of server side user extensions is measured when performance monitoring is activated. Its data is shown in a separate section in the log. The times for the UXes are included in the execution times of the BOMs (actions).
