About Surveys
A survey is an expert inspection of a property's condition. Its purpose is to identify any problems with an asset and its building elements. The survey is conducted by a surveyor who visits the property and prepares a report outlining any problems. By using the Surveys TSI in Planon ProCenter , surveyors can prepare building survey projects and process the data gathered during building surveys. The TSI interacts closely with the maintenance features available in the Assets , Asset library and Planned Maintenance , Activity planner TSIs.
In the Surveys TSI you can create two types of surveys:
Condition surveys: based on Survey elements and defects which are processed into the Assets Pro TSI. For more information, see Condition Surveys.
Assessment surveys: based on Survey objects and Observations which are processed into the Assessments and observations TSI. For more information, see Assessment surveys.
