Linking properties to a distribution point
Linking properties to a distribution point enables you to request stock items (of the distribution point) from these properties.
 | When you link a main property to a distribution point, the distribution point is also applied to its subproperties. |
To link properties to a distribution point
Procedure
1. Go to Distribution points.
2. In the element list, select a distribution point for which you want to link properties.
3. Click Link properties on the action panel.
The Link properties dialog box appears.
4. Select the properties you want to link and move them to the In use section.
5. Click OK. The selected properties are linked to the distribution point. The name, sequence and property code of the linked properties are displayed in the data section.
When a requisition line is created, the Sequence defines which distribution point should be found first to deliver the requested product.
