Stock transfer
Partially or completely moving stock of a particular item from one distribution point to another to reduce stock levels appropriately in a warehouse. Stock transfers are also done to make the stock available when it is in more demand in other distribution points.
In a warehouse, there may be some unnecessary stock items that are not in active use. As a Stock Manager, you can transfer such items to another warehouse where they may be utilized in a better manner.
Movement of products (goods) between storage locations can also arise due to storage limitations, future needs, reclassification of stock and other reasons.
