Stock position
The Stock position is the total quantity in stock, plus the quantity that is expected to move into the distribution point (e.g. due to receipts of replenishments) minus the quantity that is expected to move out of the distribution point (e.g. due to issue of requested products.)
Stock position = Total quantity + Quantity expected to move in - Quantity expected to move out.
The stock position in a distribution point is used to determine the quantity to be replenished through automatic replenishment.
