Scanning a scenario

Once you have linked a floor and drawing to a scenario, proceed by scanning the scenario. Scanning is done based on the linked CAD import definition. The available space and asset data is retrieved from the drawing and becomes available in Planon.

Procedure

1. Go to Spaces & moves scenarios.

2. Select the scenario(s) that you want to scan.

3. On the Status transitions menu, click In progress.

4. On the action menu, click Scan scenario.

The drawing is scanned now. The space and asset data retrieved from the drawing during the scan is displayed at Scenario details > Scenario items and Scenario details > Scenario item locations.
