Creating a baseline

After you have scanned the required scenarios, you can proceed by creating a baseline for your SMSP project. By creating a baseline, the available space data on the Proposed move date is retrieved.

Procedure

1. Go to Projects.

2. Select the project for which you want to create a baseline.

3. On the Status transitions menu, click Compute scenario.

4. On the action menu, click Create baseline.

A baseline is now created. Baseline data is available at the Snapshot scenario items selection step. Note that for these items the setting Baseline scenario item? is set to Yes.
