Finding the JasperReports version
To avoid compatibility issues, use a JasperSoft Studio version that matches the JasperReports library version used by Planon when customizing report definitions.
To determine which JasperReports library version is used by Planon, follow these steps:
Procedure
1. Export the report definition you want to customize. This creates a zip file containing the report's jrxml file.
2. Open the zip file. Alongside the jrxml file, you will find a readme.txt file.
3. Open readme.txt to see the recommended version, for example: "Recommended JasperSoft Studio version: 6.18.x (matching JasperReports Library 6.18.1)".
4. Install or open the matching version of Jaspersoft Studio and make your layout changes to the jrxml file.
