Business object - Reports
In Planon ProCenter terms, a business object is a logical unit of functionality that refers to a facility management concept. A report definition focuses on one main business object, but may include information on other business objects. Data fields that are linked directly to this business object are stored in the same database table. A few examples of business objects in Planon ProCenter are: properties, spaces, floors, assets, people, addresses, orders and keys. But there are dozens more.
Additionally, users with sufficient authorizations can create user-defined business objects. In order to be able to use Reports efficiently, it is important to have a clear understanding of the business object for which you are creating a report definition.
