Create a Financial Plan
From the Home screen, the Global Administrator can create a new Financial Plan by clicking on the Create Plan button. A slide-in appears in which the Global Administrator defines:
• Name: this name is shown on all screens and reports.
• The start month and the end month.
• Presentation currency.
• Exchange rates:
◦ When Edit mode is switched off: the exchange rates are synced with the Master data application. The exchange rates shown are the last known exchange rates before the start date of the Financial Plan, as entered in the Master data application.
◦ When Edit mode is switched on: the exchange rates initially show the last known exchange rates before the start date of the Financial Plan, as entered in the Master data application. You can manually change these exchange rates, if necessary, as long as the Financial Plan is open.
• Home page notification: a notification to all users on the homepage related to this Financial Plan. Typically used for informing users about deadlines related to the plan.
A created Financial Plan has the Status Open.
A Financial Plan with the Status Open can be edited, copied, and deleted.
