Options
The Options side panel allows users to manage lease extension options for current tenants. It makes it easy to extend rental periods under certain conditions and can be accessed by clicking the Options button in the contract details.
The Options side panel displays the following information:
• Recurring – Indicates whether the option is recurring.
• Start Date – The date the option begins.
• Term – The number of months for the extension.
• Exercised – Indicates if the option is exercised.
Possible statuses for Exercised:
• Option is manually exercised.
• Option can be manually exercised.
• Option is exercised because a successive option is exercised.
• Option is not editable and exercised (based on source data).
• Option is not editable because another option with the same priority is exercised.
 | When an option is exercised, the contract’s expiry date is updated by adding the term (in months) to the current expiry date. |
