Digital twins - structure
The Digital twins TSI contains two levels that feature a navigational interaction as characterized by the Planon application.
This structure enables you to monitor and maintain all digital twins from the Digital twins TSI.
Digital twin definitions (user)
At this level you can create user-defined digital twin definitions. It features all settings (property set aware/unaware settings) - such as Rules.
Example
A Standard order reference is property set aware.
This setting will now be shown on Digital twin definitions (user) level.
However, ruling is available that determines that the Standard order reference can only exist if an instance of the user-defined definition is created.
Consequently, when creating a user-defined definition, the field will not be visible still.
When using it for the first time, the Standard order reference will be displayed on Digital twin definitions (user) level.
Digital twins
When navigating from the Digital twin definitions (user) level, the Digital twins level displays all available digital twins (of all business objects).
The Elements panel displays digital twin ID and digital twin name.
The Data panel shows the business object to which the DT is linked
The data panel also features a step action that allows you to switch between Data view (showing information) and Digital twin view (showing data points).
Delete
On the Digital twins level, you can also delete a digital twin by clicking Delete digital twin (action panel). If you do so, you cannot add it here - you can only add a digital twin from the business object for which you want to create it.
Go to
When selecting a digital twin definition in the elements panel, the Go to navigation action will enable you to directly navigate to the corresponding business object.
