Conditions | |||
Specify the conditions that trigger the rule. You can choose one of the available conditions: • Threshold • Threshold with duration • Entered geofence • Exited geofence • In geofence with duration • Out of geofence with duration • Instantaneous • Compare reading After selecting a condition, you can then further specify the condition details: • Condition name Specify a name for your condition. • Condition level Specify at which level you want to apply the condition. • Devices Specify the device(s) for which the condition applies. • Data Specify the event for which you want to create the rule - for example, a temperature threshold that drops below a specific value. • Operator Select an that applies to your situation. • Value Specify the value that constitutes the baseline for your condition. • Duration Specify the time in minutes.
• Radius Specify the radius for your condition by moving the slider (only for geofence conditions). | |||
Actions | |||
Specify the operations that are activated when the rule takes effect, such as: • Sending an SMS/email • Making a phone call • Sending a call to a web service • Sending information to an ERP/CRM • Activating an endpoint on the Device (such as opening a light or closing a lock). You can also specify that an Alarm instance is created when the rule is triggered. Various fields of information from the rule itself and/or from the event that triggered the rule can be included in an SMS/email. |
