Linking product databases and calculation methods
You can link
product databases to
calculation methods to make sure the right data is used in your circularity assessments.
There are two ways to create these links:
• Link one product database to one or more calculation methods
Use this option if you want to apply the same product data across different calculation methods. This is useful when working with a national or organizational standard that uses a single, preferred product database.
• Link one calculation method to one or more product databases
Use this option if your calculation method needs to support different product databases. This is often the case in international projects, where different countries follow different standards and use different databases.
