Assets can be moved to another location within a property. It is also possible that some assets are moved to a different property completely.

If an asset is moved to a new location, on compiling the service plan /generating the maintenance activity definitions, the corresponding activity definitions of this asset in the plan are updated with the new asset location information.

For example, when assets have moved to another space in the building, any related work orders will refer to the new location(s).
However, generated orders are not updated.

If the new property is not within the maintenance plan, nothing is changed.
