If you edit the start and/or end date of a maintenance activity definition that is based on a contract activity definition, your changes may conflict with the contractual period (start and end date of the contract line). Since you cannot directly recognize contract activity definitions on the planboard, Planon will warn you when such conflicts occur. Depending on the business object settings made for Base activity definitions in Field definer , you are then either allowed to ignore the warning and proceed anyway or you are prohibited to modify the dates to beyond the contractual period. In all cases it is strongly recommended to select start / end dates for the activity definition that remain within the contractual period. Tip: in Maintenance Planner, you can filter on contract service plans and contract activity definitions by drilling down to Asset filters > Contract lines. You can also see the data of the contractual period there. |
