Scanning QR codes from outside the app
If you want to use your mobile device's 'native camera' to scan Planon QR codes, this is possible. The Planon app does not even have to be opened.
Precondition: To be able to scan QR codes with your mobile device's camera, from outside the Planon app, it is required that:
• the Planon app is installed on you mobile device
• dynamic QR codes are configured and implemented by your system administrator / application manager. See Dynamic navigation links in the WebHelp for configuration information.
Procedure
1. Open the native camera app on your mobile device.
2. Point the camera at the dynamic QR code.
3. Tap the resulting URL notification.
4. The Planon App opens. If not logged in, you will be prompted to authenticate.
5. The app automatically navigates to the linked record (for example a Meeting room or Asset).
