Step 3: Maintenance plans migration
Automatically link properties and assets to contract lines
For migrated activities based on a contract maintenance activity definition (CMAD), the migration automatically creates the required links between properties, contract lines, standard service plans, and assets.
If the property of a migrated activity definition, or a property higher in the property hierarchy, is not already linked to the relevant contract line, the migration automatically creates the link. A warning is added to the migration log when a property is linked.
The migration also ensures that the related Standard service plan and asset are correctly linked to the contract line. If the required link already exists, no duplicate link is created. The start date of the link is set to the start date of the contract line, even if the activity definition starts later.
The reference to the asset link is stored in the SSP-CL-ASSET field of the activity definition.
This step migrates Maintenance plans to the Activity planner.

This step may take time. Progress can be verified in the Activity Planner TSI by monitoring the number of activity definitions.
