Specifying financial years
After first specifying the financial calendar, you also need to specify the financial years.
1. Go to Supporting data > Financial years selection level.
2. Add as many financial years as required.
When generating accounting commitments, the corresponding financial years need to be available in Planon.
On the Financial periods selection level, Planon has automatically created the financial periods corresponding with the financial years that you added.

The periods are added following the week format that was chosen when specifying the financial calendar, either 4-4-5 / 4-5-4 or 5-4-4.
