Registering a rent-free period
You can register a rent-free period in Planon. Follow the steps below.
Procedure
1. Create a contract.
2. Add a contract line to this contract. In the Amount field, enter the value 0 (no amount has to be paid during the rent-free period).
3. Add a modification and specify the regular lease amount to be paid in the Amount field. Note that this is the actual agreed lease amount to be paid in the future, after the rent-free period.
4. For finance lease contracts where a rent-free period and payment in advance have been agreed, you can postpone the date of the first payment. For more information, see Postponing the first payment date.
