If a contract based on lease accounting was registered in a different system than Planon or in a previous Planon release (before Planon Software Suite 2015 release ), it is possible to register the contract as a lease accounting contract in Planon Software Suite 2015 or later, starting from a given date and with the correct accounting commitments. The contract must be entered in Planon Software Suite 2015 release as it was originally signed (this means the original contract, as it was signed at the start and without any additional changes). After activating the contract, the amount can be changed to the current value, because Planon doesn’t need the historical contract changes, it is only necessary to register future changes.
