Lease incentive
A lease incentive is a benefit or payment that a lessor grants to a lessee as part of a lease agreement. Examples include contributions to fit-out costs or reimbursement of relocation expenses.
The lessee includes the lease incentive in the measurement of the right-of-use asset. The incentive reduces the initial value of the asset.
When you register a lease incentive in the system, it generates the corresponding accounting postings.
