Field descriptions
The fields on the BO Advice step are divided across the General, Technical, and Audit tabs.
General tab
Focuses on what is being advised, how impactful it is, and when it was applied — the information a customer or support person needs for decision-making and traceability.

Description
Business object definition
Shows the business object for which the index recommendation applies. This helps you understand which area of the application is affected.
Expected advantage
Indicates how beneficial the index recommendation is expected to be. This value is calculated from database metrics such as average query cost, user impact, and the number of seeks and scans. A higher value means a greater expected benefit. Planon only shows and applies recommendations with a sufficiently high expected advantage; recommendations with low impact are excluded.
Applied version
Shows the Planon live version in which the recommendation was applied.
Applied date/time
Shows the date and time at which the recommendation reached the Applied state.
Comment
General-purpose comment field.
Log
Shows the log output of the most recent apply or revert action for this recommendation.
Technical tab
This tab provides the underlying database-level detail, showing the actual SQL statements and performance metrics to assess the real impact of the index change.

Description
Recommendation
Shows a meaningful description of the advised index change that will be executed by Planon.
Before Query Plan
Stores the database optimizer plan for the query before the recommendation was applied.
After Query Plan
Stores the database optimizer plan for the query after the recommendation was applied.
Detailed Information
Stores technical metrics related to the recommendation, including CPU usage, I/O statistics, timings, remarks, query text details, and impact metrics.
Audit tab
Contains the default fields that are used for audit & traceability purposes.

System-generated unique code.
Insertion date-time
Date and time the record was created.
Modification date-time
Date and time the record was last modified.
