Enabling multiselect options
For web client users, it is possible to extend the tree view in the Elements list with multiselect options.
This is a usability/accessibility issue that is default available for tablet users. However, web client users can enable this (setting).
Note  
*To enable this setting, if must first be made available on the layout.
Procedure
1. In Layouts select User settings and go to Layouts level.
2. Select the layout and put it Under construction.
3. In Unused fields, select Show check box in multiselect tree view and drag it to an appropriate spot on the layout.
4. Click Save to apply your changes.
5. Set the layout to Completed again,
6. Log off/on.
The field is now available on the layout.
By default it is not enabled, this can now be configured.
7. Go to User groups > Settings and set the Show check box in multiselect tree viewcheck box to Yes for all necessary users.
These users will then see a check box in front of the items in their elements list.
