Viewing documents
In the Planon application there are various ways in which you can view files available in Document fields.
These actions each have an separate icon that are available behind the Document fields:
• Download
When you click 
, the document or image is downloaded to your browser's download location.
, the document or image is downloaded to your browser's download location.• View in browser tab
When you click 
, the document is shown in a separate browser tab. The advantage of this option is that files are handled more safely and securely. This works out of the box for PDF files and image files. For Office documents, you need to install a (third party) extension such as 'Office editing for Docs, Sheets and Slides' (for Chrome and Edge and not for FireFox). If it is not possible to view a document in a separate tab, it will be downloaded as before.
