A workspace in Connect for AutoCAD is a space that can be allocated to a person within a space in the drawing. The Available workspaces field displays the number of workspaces in a selected space that are vacant in a drawing.

This field is calculated based on the difference between the field Number of fixed workspaces in Connect for AutoCAD and the Number of People located in that space in the drawing.
