Show CAD log viewer
The Show CAD Log Viewer action helps you quickly identify and resolve issues that occur during the CAD import process in Planon. When you import a CAD drawing, the system generates a log that lists details and any problems detected during the import.
With this feature, you can click on a special code called a Handle ID in the log. When you click a Handle ID, the system automatically opens the CAD drawing and zooms in on the exact entity referenced in the log entry.
This makes it much easier to locate and fix issues without manually searching through the drawing. You can now navigate directly to the problem area with a single click, saving time and reducing mistakes.
How does it work?
You can access the Show CAD Log Viewer in the CAD Import log details step of the CAD import process. In this step, the log viewer displays clickable Handle IDs for quick navigation.
