Application management overview
Planon application is delivered as a preconfigured system with predefined processes. To adapt the configuration to the organization's requirements, it is possible to make changes in the application.
The Application management components and the tools involved in data and configuration transfer to handle these components are explained in the following topics.
This image shows an overview of these components and tools used by an application manager.
The circles of configuration illustrate the routing and impact of modifications in the Planon application.
Example: The configuration of Business processes affects Accounts and this, in turn, affects user interfaces. However, a change in one user interface does not necessarily affect another user interface.
