Linking fields to supplementary measurement points
Supplementary measurement points are used to capture data that is not related to occupancy.
In the interplay of measurement point roles being primary and supplementary, reading data of supplementary measurement points can be copied to the primary measurement point.
To define which data should be copied, you must link the data fields of the respective supplementary measurement point.
Procedure
1. Go to the Connectors selection step and deactivate the connector that is parent of the primary and supplementary measurement point.
Note that only the (merge) fields of the supplementary measurement points should be filled in the related measurement point definition.
2. Go to Configurations & logging > Definitions level and select or create the definition you want to use for capturing environmental data, such as humidity, noise levels, etc. For more information, see Adding measurement point definitions.
3. In the measurement point definition, on the action panel, click Link supplementary measurement point fields. Here, you can select the fields you want to be visible on the primary measurement point. To select fields, move the required fields to In use.
4. Click OK to confirm and close the dialog box.
When activated, the data of the supplementary measurement point will be copied to the primary measurement point, the collection point of all related readings.
