Resummarization
AWM uses a summarization process to combine individual IoT readings into summarized data. Sometimes, due to connection issues, historical configuration changes (e.g. a space type change) or other errors, these readings may not be exchanged properly between the hardware vendor's IoT system and Planon.
To address this, you can manually fix readings, import historical readings, or use AWM Backfill. If these corrections occur after summarization, the existing summarized data must be deleted and recreated based on the new readings, this is called resummarization.
By resummarization you will re-aggregate previously summarized data after historical readings have been corrected or updated. This involves deleting existing summarized readings for a specific period and recreating them based on the new individual readings to ensure that the summarized data accurately reflects the corrected or newly imported data.
