Reapplying standard service plans
You can use the Reapply standard service plan action to update your contract line after you have changed a standard service plan or added assets. When you add new standard activity definitions or new assets, the system does not automatically update existing contract lines. You must reapply the standard service plan to create the missing activity definitions.
You can use the action only if:
• The contract line is not terminated.
• You have linked a standard service plan to the contract line.
Run Reapply standard service plan when:
• You add a new standard activity definition to an existing standard service plan.
• You add a new asset or asset location to the contract line.
• You notice that activity definitions are missing.
| If you do not run this action, your contract line may not reflect the full service scope. |
Procedure
1. Go to the relevant Contract line (in Contracts or Customer contracts) or Standard service plan (in Activity Library).
2. On the action panel, click Reapply standard service plan.
3. In the Enter values dialog box, select the relevant options.
◦ Enter the Start date for the new activity definitions and /or related contract lines.
