Contract lines with standard service plans - assets fields
Field
Description
Contract line link with standard service plan
Select the relevant contract link with standard service plan from the dialog box available in this field.
Asset
Select the relevant asset from the dialog box available in this field. Select All or Standard assets linked to standard service plan and select the relevant asset to link to the standard service plan.
Start date
This date will be used for:
• the start date of related activity definitions that are created for the selected asset and standard service plan
• the start date of the link between the activity definition and the contract line

On update of the start date, the start date of the related existing activity definition is updated accordingly, but only if the start date of the activity definitions matched the start date before the update.
If the start date does not match the start date of related activity definitions, then changing the start date is only reflected in the link between the activity definitions and the contract line.
End date
This date will be used for:
• the end date of related activity definitions
• the end date of the link between the related activity definition and the contract line

On update of the end date, the end date of the related existing activity definition is updated accordingly, but only if the start date of the activity definitions matched the start date before the update.
If the end date does not match the end date of related activity definitions, then changing the end date is only reflected in the link between the activity definitions and the contract line.
Filling end date is optional.
