Automatic creation and management of activity definitions in a contract line
You can use the automatic creation and management of activity definitions for standard service plans to manage activity definitions that are linked to contract lines directly in the TSI.
This feature helps you set up and administer activities definitions for assets covered by contracts more efficiently. It ensures consistency, traceability, and reduces manual work. You can:
• define the standard service plans that are covered under the contract line.
• define the assets for which the standard service plan is applicable.
When the standard service plans and assets are linked, the required activity definitions are created and then linked to the contract Line.
| If the required activity definition was already created, but is not linked to the contract line, Planon links the contract line to the existing activity definition when the contract line is activated. |
Advantages:
• Reduced setup time through automation of activity definition creation and linking.
• Lower risk of data inconsistency across assets and contract lines.
